Ted Olson graduated from the University of Utah with a BS in Mass Communication and worked for 31 years as a copywriter in Salt Lake City. He cut his teeth as a fiction writer at the Writers @ Work Conference in Park City, Utah. He also attended the Advanced Fiction Workshop in San Francisco and the Southern California Writer’s Conference in Newport Beach, among other conferences. In 2019 he completed an MFA in creative writing at the Rainier Writing Workshop at Pacific Lutheran University. He has completed one novel titled Cape Wrath, and  he's working on another novel, The Corporal of Loupeigne. In 2020 he launched Story Road, LLC. When he’s not writing, editing, or consulting, he spends his time playing the bagpipes with the Wasatch & District Pipe Band, reading, or fly fishing.
